For nine thousand years, Persephone has split her time between the underworld with her husband, the king of the dead, and on earth with her mother, the goddess of the harvest. But this spring, something feels different. The natural world is in chaos - with unexpected rains, irregular crop growth, and humans encroaching on the forests without resistance from her mother. As Demeter struggles to regain her powers and protect her daughter from her husband's desire to keep her underground permanently, Persephone finds a newfound sense of liberation. "No Season but the Summer" reimagines a classic myth and explores the consequences of when our age-old stories no longer serve us and the rules are no longer applicable.
